Sizing table

Choosing the right size is difficult sometimes, especially concerning children in the growing. We give you some general tips that may help you choose the size that fits you most.

Babies and children
In general: all brands use european sizes. Joha has a bigger fit than the other brands and shrinks less. Cosilana, Hocosa and Alkena use a bit smaller sizing. If you doubt about the size, we always advise you to buy the bigger one.

Joha and Togs (rainwear) use a bit different sizing from what we are used to: the sizes jump with 10 cm. In fact the sizing is comparable to ours: both are based on the body lenght.

For all brands: if you try the article on, reckon with some shrinking when washed.

Ladies
The lady sizes correspond to the usual sizing in the Netherlands. Alkena and Hocosa are relatively wide compared to the other brands. Cosilana, Joha and Dilling have a narrower fit. Hocosa and Dilling are nicely long; the Italian brand Moret is relatively short. Cosilana, Joha, Dilling, Madiva and Moret are very stretchable in the width, although a shirt that gets stretched a lot in the width, will become shorter in wearing.

So if you are tall and skinny, choose for Dilling or some models of Madiva (the sleeveless vests are nice and long). Or choose for a bigger size than usual of the brands Cosilana or Moret; because of the narrower fit, it will enclose the body comfortably.
Are you full-bodied and not so long: you better choose Alkena or Hocosa or the bigger sizes of Cosilana, Moret, Joha, Dilling or Madiva.

For all brands: if you try the article on, reckon with some shrinking when washed.
