General terms and conditions

Asterra is a concern that pays high importance to customer relations; service and satisfaction are our aims. Asterra strives to solve possible complaints and problems in consultation with the customer. General terms and conditions for the web shop of Asterra, established in Leiden, have been designed to prevent from possible misunderstandings and disputes. The Dutch law applies to all agreements and disputes between parties.

The following terms and conditions apply to all our articles. You agree to these conditions automatically when you place an order.

Prices
All prices are indicated in Euro and include VAT and exclude dispatch costs. To customers with a delivery address outside the European Union, no VAT is calculated.

General
As soon as you have ordered and received the order affirmative, the articles will be reserved up to 7 days. If the payment has not been received after 7 days, the agreement is cancelled automatically. The articles are then returned to the stock of the web shop.

In spite of the careful composition of the internet site, it may occur that false prices are mentioned. If this should be the case, the customer will be informed as soon as possible. In any of these cases, Asterra is not obliged to deliver at this false price. The customer, however, is entitled to cancel the order without any costs.

Because the display of colors differs from screen to screen, it is possible that the shown or printed colors deviate from reality.

Payment
Of each order you receive an automatic e-mail message with your customer, order, and paying information. You can choose from the following payment possibilities:
• iDeal; the safe paying standard for internet banking through your own paying account. This is available for customers with a Dutch bank account only.

• bank transfer; as soon as you received the order affirmation, you make the payment by transferring the amount from your own bank account. If you have a bank account outside the Netherlands, you need to use the IBAN number of Asterra to transfer to. You find this number on the order confirmation. 

Guarantee
To all articles which are provided by Asterra, we apply a guarantee on production failures. In case of guarantee problems we examine the problem; if agreed on, the article will be replaced by an identical article. If the article is no longer deliverable, the purchase money of the article will be re deposited . This guarantee expires when:
• you yourself have tried to repair a lack;
• you have not followed the instructions for use properly (among which the washing and care instructions on clothing labels).
• you have used the article in a way it is not intended for.
Asterra is not responsible for any direct or indirect damage which occurs after supply, by whichever cause, to the customer or his/her family members, to the goods of the customer, to third parties or to goods of third parties.
